It’s been a while since I’ve done an affiliate marketing update, but today I’m excited to tell you about my new favourite affiliate marketing forum, affLIFT.
If you are an active affiliate or you are looking to learn affiliate marketing with much of spending then affiliate marketing forums are the best places to learn tips & tricks without having to spend huge on courses as well as trying out with various offers.
This post is for you if you are:
So coming back to the forum, affLIFT: I’ve spent some time in affLIFT and it’s pretty awesome. It was just launched in May, but the community is growing rapidly.

They have about 5,000 members including many names you’ll recognise if you’re a member of any of the other popular affiliate forums such as AffiliateFix or Stackthatmoney or Warriorforums . etc.

Luke Kling owns and leads the forum. He’s the Director of Marketing at PeerFly affiliate network and has been in the industry for a long time. He’s posting video lessons and already has a few hundreds threads in the forum.

Luke is one of the persons who are willing to extend a helping hand to affiliates who are struggling to make money with affiliate marketing. Luke also owns a great blog www.lukepeerfly.com where I have studied a lot of stuff related to affiliate marketing. He shares his secrets as well as process to make money with affiliate offers.

The main sections of the forum is broken down by the various affiliate marketing methods.

PPV (Pay per View)

The most popular section of the forum is definitely the PPV section. The members are talking about and running many PPV affiliate campaigns on a bunch of different traffic sources.
They also have representatives from some of the top PPV traffic sources in the community helping members and providing support. This includes staff from ZeroPark, TONIC, and PropellerAds.
The search marketing section is the second most popular part of the forum. There’s a ton of discussion around using Bing Ads to promote affiliate offers.
Luke has a pretty large social media audience (he calls it his social media empire) and also seems to promote affiliate offers with Facebook Ads, which he’s discussed quite a bit.

Push Notifications

The push notification section of the forum was just added recently, but it’s already got some interesting discussions going.
affLIFT also has a live chatroom at the bottom which is really cool. You can talk to other members of the community right within the chat. There are members online all day and they’ve had some interesting discussions.

affLIFT Live Chat section

Is the AffLIFT Forum Paid?

The forum is a paid forum so it does cost money, but it’s cheap compared to most other “premium affiliate marketing forums” available such as Stackthatmoney or AffiliateFix. The membership is only $20/month and includes access to everything (no upsells). If you are really serious about making money then this cost is nothing as compared to the knowledge that you will receive from the experts.
They also offer a lifetime membership for $350, which if you calculate it, is about a year and a half of membership dues. If you plan on doing affiliate marketing for more than a year and a half, it’s a steal.
I highly recommend affLIFT. It’s a nice friendly community filled with other people to bounce ideas off of and get help.

Live Case Studies

One of the best parts of the forum is that you will get to see lot of cases studies from the experts so can implement the stuff by studying such stuff very easily. Just have a look at one of the case studies by the forum member.

Take a look at what they have to offer. You won’t be disappointed!
Note: This is to inform my blog readers that this post is an honest review of the forum which I have been a member of since last one month. This is a genuine and unbiased review and there is no monetary stuff involved here.

My Viddyoze 3.0 Review: When Viddyoze first came out it stood out for a number of reasons. Firstly, it took a huge amount of pain out of creating videos and, secondly, it was launched by a bunch of super-cool UK people, which made a massive change for me personally, from the usually too-slick American style presentations.

First up, what the hell do I know about video marketing? Well, when I created the world’s first online skipe hire company in 2003 (Topskips.com), I became the first in the market to use videos to increase conversions, sales and profits with this “explainer video” shot on a Saturday morning in one take. This got over 100,000 views before the people that bought that company from me moved it to a new channel a few months ago after being hacked (yes, I was really that fat back in 2005):

I went further by creating a pop video for skip hire that got over 350,000 views and got me onto the Chris Evans Show on BBC Radio 2 back in 2008 (this is from a backup channel because the original got hacked with Russian porn as well):

And this is me at No. 2 in Google for a keyword research tutorial video I made in 2014 for my course “The Technophobes Guide to Internet Marketing Success”:

keyword research tutorial by markattwood.com

keyword research tutorial by markattwood.com

So, in a nutshell, Viddyoze allows you to create high-touch, professional, studio-quality, jaw-dropping video animations that used to only be possible with AfterEffects. Whatever you want to create: intros, outros, logo stings, CTAs (calls to action), social actions…Viddyoze 3.0 lets you do this in minutes from your browser for less than $70!

If you didn’t already know, over 80% of ALL web traffic will be from video by 2019, according to this Cisco report – it’s already over 60%.

Bottom line: you need to be making video and lots of it.

So, what are the Viddyoze 3.0 Features?

1. You get Live Action Animations

Probably the best feature of Viddyoze 3.0. and exclusive to the platform.

This feature allows you to incorporate your logo or text into a video with real actors. This is a major development!

2. Really Cool Intros and Outros

No more naff intros and outros from Fiverr.com, and totally customize-able these to your style/brand.

3. Professional Lower Thirds

Lower Thirds are the bit on the screen that displays information like your name, title, location – whatever. They add a touch of class to your videos and can make a big difference to the way your business comes across to people.

4. Really Smooth Animated Transitions

If you’ve ever edited your own videos, you’ll know how important great transitions between scenes are. Viddyoze does not disappoint here with a wide range of genuinely polished options.

5. Call To Actions For Social Media

Floating animations for all your social media pages. Cool.

6. Viddyoze Template Club

The Viddyoze Template Club is quite expensive at $37 a month or $ 347 a year but you do get access to over 700 exclusive templates. For serious players. They also throw in 15 new Members Only templates every month.

7. 30 Day 100% Money Back Guarantee

If you use it and don’t like it, the Viddyoze guys will give you a refund. That’s how confident in the software they are.

8. 100% Cloud Based Software

This is actually my favourite part because a lot of video software is PC only. Not only do a I work on a Mac, I really don’t like the clunkiness of windows emulators. And I fucking hate Bill Gates. So cloud-based gets a BIG thumbs up from me.

FriendsWeekend-1-6 The Beginners Guide to Affiliate MarketingPassive income. Making money while you sleep. Getting out of the dollars for hours model. These are every business owners dream, right? Creating something that can generate income on its own without creating more work from you, it’s on your goal sheet. But what if you’re not quite ready for this step in your own business? What if you’re unsure what direction you will take or what product or service might be best for you and your audience? The answer for you just might be affiliate marketing! Let’s cover how to know if it’s right for you and your business, how to get started, what to look for when choosing an affiliate partner and how to approach them.

Is Affiliate Marketing right for your business?

First, what is affiliate marketing and how is it different than influencer marketing? For an in depth talk about affiliate marketing and how I use it in my own business, check out this podcast episode! Affiliate marketing is defined as when you refer people to a product or service and get a commission if they purchase because of you. Influencer marketing, on the other hand, is when you are paid per post or given a flat fee to endorse a product in a more general way. As an influencer, you are not paid based on the action your followers take as a result of their post, but rather for simply talking and sharing about it.

Both affiliate marketing and influencer marketing are powerful ways to generate income and I use both of these in my business. So when is affiliate marketing the best choice? This is often a longer-term partnership and has a more complex content strategy to be able to continuously drive traffic with the goal of completing sales that can be linked back to you.

When it comes to being successful with affiliates, it’s important that you market them seriously and with intention. I blog, post on social media and talk about my affiliates on the podcast regularly. Affiliate marketing can be a smart choice if you’re not ready to be promoting your own work yet and have the time and space to promote something for someone else and/or if you have influence with your current audience.

Examples of affiliates that I support in my business are businesses like my client management site Honeybook or the legal contracts I use within my business all the way down to my all-natural skincare that I love. These are businesses that I use every day that support my business and my lifestyle and that may be helpful for my audience.

Before you get started

The first step for both affiliate marketing is to build trust with your audience. This is crucial because if your followers aren’t engaged with your content or if they don’t trust your recommendations, they aren’t likely to click through to something that you are recommending. This is important when it comes to affiliate partnerships because you don’t get paid if people aren’t taking action, your paycheck reflects your followers trust in you and their ability to take action based on your personal recommendations!

It takes time to build the trust of your audience! Show up consistently, ask your audience questions and engage with them, share products you love without making a dime, and serve them well long before you try to promote a sale. The more you show up authentically and share the things that you actually love and that might also be helpful to your audience (even if you’re not getting paid yet), the more they will be attracted to the things you recommend in the future and will be ready to take your recommendations.

The best news? You don’t need to have a large following, it’s all about quality over quantity here! I’ve watched micro-influencers kill it in affiliate marketing because they have built a loyal following who sincerely trusts their recommendations. If affiliate marketing is something you’re drawn to explore, start to naturally incorporate posts and stories of things you’re using, loving, or that are making your life easier with your followers!

Choose companies that align with your business

Think of affiliate marketing as an extension of your brand and just another tool you have that allows you to serve your community. Look for products and services you love and are passionate about, that you can share easily. When I say “Hey I love this, you should try it”, I’m putting myself out there as a spokesperson, so I better truly love it. Make sure that you are picking people and companies that are aligned with your business standards and values. People can tell if someone is genuinely sharing something because they love it (and happen to get paid for it too) or if they are simply sharing something for a paycheck.

The next step is to look for companies that are creating products or services that are aligned with the needs of your audience but are not something you would want to create in the future yourself. As an example, I talk a lot about my health and fertility journey, and so sharing the products I use (and getting paid for them) was a no-brainer. This is just a great way to tell my story and provide a resource that helped me in my own life and might help my audience that has been along for the ride too.

Keep your affiliate circle small. Every time you are promoting someone else’s course, product or program, it’s a time when you are selling something to your audience. I am a firm believer that we should be serving our audience 80% of the time before we ever sell or promote anything. With that limited time available to us, we need to be extremely picky with the companies we choose to align ourselves with.

Consider what the payout potential is and if it is worth your time and efforts. How much of your time will this take? How much energy are you willing to put into marketing these items? How responsive is your community when you share? It’s important to think about the big picture and where your efforts are best spent (on your own business or promoting someone else’s) before diving into affiliate marketing.

How to approach an affiliate partner

If you’ve found a product that you love and use, check and see if they have an affiliate program or a way for you to have a referral code and track your efforts in sharing this with you community! Affiliates can be not only a great way to generate income but you can also get yourself free products or credits towards things you love.

If you don’t see an active affiliate program but you’re interested or curious, reach out! Genuinely share your personal experience with the product, including what you love about it and how it has impacted you. Do your research and show that you know all about them before ever talking about what you have to offer. Then present your plans in the best light and how you hope to share their offer with your audience! Consider sharing all your stats and audience demographics and why you’d make a great team. Nervous about pitching yourself? Check out 11 more ideas about how to pitch yourself here.

Business owners who are interested in raising their conversion rates need to pay close attention to emerging trends and best practices that drive Internet marketing. Here are several essentials you need to know about Internet marketing in the current day.

1. Responsive web design

Responsive web design has emerged as an incredibly important and effective Internet marketing strategy. As Supple Solutions notes on their blog, “What Makes Responsive Web design and SEO a Dynamic Duo,” responsive web design is “a design approach that allows websites to respond and adapt to the screen size, orientation and platform being used.”

This approach to Internet marketing is significant for many reasons, especially the fact that it makes your website functional for individuals who come to it via mobile devices. And as made plain by Daryl Bosomworth in his article “Mobile Marketing Statistics 2014,” mobile access is expected to exceed access from fixed computers such as PCs this year.

So it’s clear you should make responsive web design an integral component of your internet marketing strategy.

2. Strong content

Although each passing year brings a host of new online marketing trends, some things never change. That especially goes for the importance of creating great content.

Content is central for many reasons. To begin with, it’s one of the primary mediums through which prospective clients learn about your goods and services.

Among the things you can do to ensure that your content is great, is to make sure it’s free of grammatical errors and typos, and contains no off-topic rants. In addition, you should strive to ensure that your content is as scannable as possible.

As described by Nielsen Norman Group in “How Users Read on the Web,” online users don’t actually read content; they skim in search of the information they want. Knowing this to be true, you’ll want to incorporate textual elements that facilitate the process. (Some tools you might include would be bullet points, headers, and numbered lists.)

3. Blog building

Blog building gives business owners an opportunity to interact with their prospective customers in meaningful ways. Devote some time and attention to building your blog this year.

There are a host of tactics you can employ to make your blog catch fire and keep the attention of prospective customers. In “14 Ways To Make Your Blog Get Real Attention,” Jacquelyn Smith notes that you can leverage social media to garner interest in your posts. Other strategies to incorporate include the use of Share Buttons and speaking your audience’s language.

If you’re serious about taking your business to the next level this year, take note of the many ways that Internet marketing can help you accomplish this objective. By implementing some or all of the tips outlined above, you will likely find that your business is able to experience solid growth and expansion in the online arena.

Once this happens, your odds of attaining increased conversion rates and the loyal customer base you want will be substantially raised.

Fastest Way To Make Money On Clickbank For Beginners in 2018

Here’s a no BS guide to propper Clickbank affiliate strategies and ways to make money on Clickbank in 2018 and beyond…

Most of the affiliate marketers know ClickBank, in fact, Clickbank is usually where most of the people start their online business. But here’s the biggest issue with it: only a few people out of every 100 marketers will actually make money from it.

Here’s how it usually goes: People join Clickbank, find a low-quality product, they throw some random traffic at it and after seeing that nobody bought anything from their affiliate link, curse at the website and call it BS or scam. Does this sound familiar? I’m sure you’ve seen people like this at some point (if you’re not one of them)

It Started Slow For Me…

The biggest problem I’ve noticed is that some people think the internet is a magic place where you make a million dollar overnight and I can’t blame them either.

I’m sure you’ve seen some marketers driving supercars and telling everyone that it’s easy to make money on Clickbank, but it’s really not. I don’t want to bum you out completely, so I have some good news as well: some luck and the right strategy, you have a chance to make it as well.

Sidenote: as the CEO and the Founder of Aversity, I earn over $600,000 a month and Clickbank isn’t a big part of my income but I still do six-figures with it.

2012 was the first year I tried promoting Clickbank and made $350 from it, then in 2013, I made over $350 a week and in 2014, I ended up making over $65,000 from the platform without even trying too hard (I still had a job back then and couldn’t invest too much time)

and to this date, I’m one of their top affiliates, banking over half a million a year from multiple Clickbank accounts and also ended up building my own multi-million dollar marketing company, Aversity.

I think you get the point. But the real question is, how I went from $350 a year to over $500,000? or In fact, $0 to six-figures on Clickbank?

You’re about to find out…

So let’s jump right in with a little catch-up lesson, for those of you who don’t understand what I’m talking about right now.

What You Will Learn In This Post:

  • What is Clickbank and how affiliate marketers make money from it
  • How to find the most profitable products to promote on Clickbank
  • The easiest way to promote Clickbank products and earn commissions
  • How to build sales funnels for Clickbank products
  • Tools to build sales funnels

What is Clickbank and how affiliate marketers make money from it?

Most of the people think that Clickbank is just another affiliate network, but that’s far from the truth. The platform is simply a large marketplace for product creators with a massive list of affiliates. Product creators pay Clickbank to list their product, Clickbank uses its massive affiliate follower base (me and you) to promote those products and everyone gets a cut. Simple, right?

A product marketplace for affiliates

As an affiliate marketer, you can get started instantly. Simply, create your unique affiliate link using the tools provided inside (I’ll explain more on this) and start sending traffic right away to get sales. Clickbank dashboard will also show your earnings in real time.

You can join for free and there will be no screening or interviews. It’s an open and simplified network for everyone (although I think it’s not available in some countries). In case you want to try it for yourself, simply visit Clickbank.com and create your account.

A ready to use payment system and product delivery platform for info product owners

Believe it or not, gurus and product owners are very much in love with Clickbank. It provides everything they need in one place to build a successful online business and sell their product.

Clickbank gives them the secure checkout system, info product delivery system and a very powerful affiliate program with hundreds of thousands of affiliates. It’s the perfect formula for success!

How to find the most profitable products to promote on Clickbank?

Finding a good product to promote will save you countless hours and will also allow you to keep your commissions! In the video below, I’ll explain what do I look for when choosing a Clickbank product to promote:

Imagine yourself, investing countless hours to build a promotion campaign for a Clickbank product. After a while, you find out that no one is buying the product, or worst, people buy but return it, because it doesn’t solve a problem.

Products you pick and promote on Clickbank should solve a serious problem, have a landing page with a good sales video and have a great affiliate section with a variety of tools for you to use in your promo campaigns.

Nothing is worse than making the sale, earning the commission and losing it a day later. This is a critical step and you should take it very seriously if you want to make it on Clickbank.

Also, don’t forget to contact the product owner for a review access. It’s impossible to sell a product if you don’t know what’s inside or what you are selling. Most of the product owners will give you a review access if you ask them nicely!

The easiest way to promote Clickbank products

I bet you’ve been waiting for this one. So let’s talk strategy and get started with some basic but good strategies. After that, I’m going to share some alternative strategies with you.

As always, I have a full video to explain this, because I know everyone loves a good video. In the video below, I’ll share one my fastest Clickbank promotion strategies and how I use a very simple set of tools to earn commissions:

The video above will give you an idea of the most common Clickbank affiliate strategies. Remember, they can and will make you money, if you invest some time and be patient with them, but they’re not anywhere near what we do to make over $500,000 a year from Clickbank.

but before I share my secret sauce with you…

I want to go over some of the most common strategies that people use to promote products and make money on Clickbank. Remember that I’m not saying these strategies don’t work, but they are not the fastest and the most reliable ways to go about it.

Banner Ads and Direct Traffic

Direct traffic is the most common strategy among newbies for a good reason: it’s easy to implement and not very time-consuming but more importantly, it’s the least profitable strategy in affiliate marketing.

Here’s how you implement it: You find a somewhat related article on your site or someone else’s website and place a banner ad on the sidebar or in the middle of the article, without any preselling.

Product reviews are the most used affiliate marketing tactics for one good reason: they work!

Traffic from product reviews to the product page (your affiliate link) is extremely targeted. A good example was my Google Sniper Review video back in 2014. This video got over 38,000 views and made me over $25,000 in commissions…yes, $25,000 in commissions from ONE VIDEO!

As you see, product reviews are powerful and I still use them, but not as much as I used to.

Here’s how I write a good product review:

I don’t try to sell too much. All you need to do is to drive value and give good information to the buyer. Put yourself in the shoes of the buyer and address their fears and questions. Don’t beat around the bush and don’t try to waste their time and at the end, try showing some sort of proof or results. If you own the product, show what’s inside and talk about your experience with it. This will help you to build a relationship with them quickly.

Before I get into funnels, let me share a couple of Clickbank secrets with you…

First of all, the best way to learn Clickbank is to learn it from people who are making crazy money with it, right? (duh)

but how do you do that? It’s simple, you spy on top Clickbank earners. Here’s how:

You need to find every Clickbank related ad, sales page and video from popular marketers and grab the parts that make sense to you. Also, there are websites like Similarweb that allow you to spy on certain websites and channels. Watch the video below to learn more about ways you can spy on Clickbank top earners:

Another important Clickbank success secret is this: Build your own buyer list!

In that article, I talked about the importance of buyer list and how to create one, if you’re just an affiliate. Here are the 4 steps to creating a buyer list for your Clickbank promotion:

  1. Create a presell page where you explain the features of the product and why someone should buy it from you
  2. Provide a valuable bonus and tell people that they can claim this bonus if they purchase the product from your affiliate link
  3. Create a list in your autoresponder and a popup using Leadpages. In the popup form, ask for order ID, Name, and email
  4. If the order ID matches your Clickbank sale, send them the bonus link, and if it doesn’t, remove the lead from your list.

How to build sales funnels for Clickbank products

Everything I mentioned above will work to some extent but they’re usually worn out and overused by everyone in the industry, making it hard or impossible to scale unless you have a large website with hundreds and hundreds of reviews.

Another problem which I personally believe is the biggest one is that the strategies mentioned above aren’t going to help you build a good business with a steady income.

One of the biggest sources of sales in any business, online or local is existing customers. But how can you market a new product to your existing customers when you don’t have their information and there is no way for you to get in touch with them, simply because you directly sent them to your affiliate link?

This is why building a sales funnel is critical to your long-term success.

Here’s a simple blueprint of a sales funnel:

Here’s a video explaining the structure of the a simple sales funnel in more details:

Your Autoresponder Service

Your autoresponder will be the core of your marketing business. They key to success with Clickbank is automation and autoresponders will help you to automate your business. Without it, you don’t have a business.

There are dozens of autoresponder tools online and each one of them has it’s own pros and cons, but I use Aweber for my own purposes. I’ve been using it since I started back in 2012 and haven’t had any issues with them since then.

Your opt-in page is the page where you offer your visitors an incentive or “bribe” in exchange for their email. Like autoresponders, you can find dozens of different landing page builders online, but if you’re new to the whole scene and aren’t that tech savvy, I recommend Leadpages.net. Here’s an example of a landing page I built using Leadpages:

Leadpages.net is easy to use and will work perfectly with Aweber and more importantly, it’s very affordable!

To wrap it up

As you probably guessed, the scale of strategies behind promoting Clickbank products is much larger than the ClickBank itself. One thing you must understand is the fact that you need to choose your strategy based on the product, not what you know. Every product has a different audience and every audience requires a different approach, that’s why if you want to become a super affiliate on Clickbank, you need to learn these different strategies and choose the right one based on what you promote.

You will need to find a good product, find the right strategy based on the product sales pages and niche, then build a promotion funnel for it, drive targeted traffic and improve your funnel and traffic while you track your results using tracking tools such as Clickmeter, Google Analytics or Hotjar.

The important thing you should understand is that there isn’t only one formula or strategy to promote Clickbank products. A truly successful affiliate marketer knows ALL profitable strategies and uses them based on the product.

In CB Masters Academy, I teach you ALL of these strategies LIVE with details, build campaigns in front of you and coach you to success!

This system for me is the best out there for the following reasons:

Let’s dive into each element of the funnel and how you can execute each of them:

Traffic & content

This one is pretty straight forward. If you create value only content, getting links using these tactics and getting shares is fairly easy. There’s 3 main ways I recommend you to go after traffic:

Remember there rules. Keep the content clean of promotions (apart from your opt in), give value, establish yourself as an authority and don’t be greedy. That will really set you apart from 99% of affiliates.

Opt in

Create a complementary piece of content to the article. For example, if the article is a list of tips, create 3 more tips that people can download. This can be more recipes or anything that is a continuation to the content. This way, the people that were engaged enough to read until the end will most likely want to trade their email for more.

To distribute this lead magnet I recommend you look into:

Thank you page & offer

Now that people have opted in, you need to redirect them to a thank you page where you can (finally) promote your offer.

While promoting the offer is important, it’s also important to “bridge” the offer with the lead magnet they just opted in for. Otherwise, people will be frustrated and think they need to pay for the lead magnet. Trust me we’ve made that mistake!

You then want to explain to people why the lead magnet they’ve downloaded is incomplete and why they should take the offer you present along with it, to get better results.

In this case, people download a juicing recipes book but we explain to them that without the 30 day plan, they won’t get very far and achieve what they want.

Notice that the call to action is to “continue” meaning we’re not telling them anything is for sale yet. That means more clicks to our sales page and eventually more sales.

You can build these landing pages with your regular theme short codes but I recommend Thrive Content Builder (read the review) for it, with the drag & drop editor you can create these in seconds.

Email Marketing

This is where things start to be fun. As opposed to people trying to throw traffic to a sales page once and then have no chance to see those visitors again, you have their contact details!

Note: If you don’t have an email marketing service yet, I recommend Getresponse, it’s far superior to Aweber and offers great automations for the exact same price.

That means you can expose them to the offer again in case they didn’t buy and take your time to convince them that it’s what they need (and you know it is because they downloaded the related lead magnet).

When you get started, I recommend to only set up a 3 part autoresponder. It’s enough to know if the offer is going convert or not. Here’s how I break it down:

Email 1 – Features & Logic

In the first email I first send them the link to the lead magnet a second time (the excuse to email them) and ask them if they saw the offer (affiliate link). I then go on and give a bullet point list of why I think they should get it as well as maybe 1 testimonial to give it credibility and start easing into the emotional realm. I’ll usually finish with a question, opening a loop making them want to open the next email.

Email 2 – Emotions

In the second email, you email them to answer the question you asked in the previous email and start (excuse for the email). Then you go on and help them visualize themselves having solved the problem and all the things they could do when it is solved.

In the case of weight loss for example it could be:

Simply elicit positive emotions of all the great things that could happen and link it back to your product.

Email 3 – Scarcity

In the final email of the series you want to push people to take action right now. This is when you use a mixture of limited time offers (discounts, bonuses etc if available with the offer) and guilt people for not taking action.

You can use sentences like: “Einstein defined insanity as the fact of doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results” or “You need something new if you really want to change your life”.

This is when you want to make sure the product actually delivers. If I guilt someone into buying a product that actually helps them lose 20lbs and live a better life, I’m happy I did it. If you guilt low income overweight people to buy a crappy pseudo science product and they lose both money and hope, you’re not a great person.

These sales tactics are powerful and work but you have to have ethics when using them. Remember, we want to sell MANY things to our prospects so the first product better deliver! Really helping people makes you more money.

If you’re thinking this is a lot of work, and it really isn’t, then imagine how happy you’ll be when your daily emails go out and you see money trickling in that way (wait, was that visualization?).

Once people have gone through the 3 part autoresponder, simply add them to your main broadcast list and email them your next pieces of content. If they’re interested, they’ll opt in and enter a new mini sales funnel.

This is a great way to not burn your email list while constantly selling. Those who don’t opt in never get sold to, until they are interested enough to download your lead magnet. At this point, you’re seen as a great value giver since your front end is always pure value.

Sadly, this option is becoming more and more popular so I won’t be able to enjoy it alone anymore.

Using Facebook or any other retargeting service, you can create audiences of people visiting your website (minus those who opted in from the site) and advertize lead magnets to them.

The process is fairly simple and after a bit of optimization you’ll be able to let it run as people get out of your retargeting list after a bit. I cover setting up these campaigns in my upcoming training product (Double your leads).

Send that traffic to a squeeze page. They will know who you are and you can achieve as much as 70% opt in rate with some headline tweaking. Here’s an example of opt in page I send traffic to our juicing funnel.

Now that you’ve built the initial funnel, let it run for a little bit. Perhaps start building a second one and after a while, decide if it’s worth spending more time on it.

If it’s making some sales and you want to expand it, all you need to do is pick one area and expand it. These include:

Owning the offer

When you’ve reached a certain scale, you should already be making several thousand dollars per month. At this point, it’s time to start considering swapping the affiliate offer with your own offer.

This will allow you to keep all the money coming in and control things such as:

To wrap it up

As you probably guessed, the scope of this strategy is slightly larger than ClickBank itself. ClickBank is a great, simple place to start replacing things such as Adsense or Amazon revenue for real sales. It tends to generate much more revenue.

You can use this in other networks or even for your own products. Be careful though, as offers do occasionally get pulled. You need to be sure you have a backup offer in case this happens (or you’re ready to create a backup yourself).

I hope this tutorial inspired you to get out of the “easy” monetization methods and showed you that it is possible to build a long term property, be seen as a value adder and yet make money with Clickbank.

Are you looking to jump into affiliate marketing, but want to find the best course available so you don’t get ripped off?

My Affiliate Marketing Journey

Hello, I am Jeremy Harrison, I first started in online marketing in 2016 by trying out a few different things, the first thing I tried (and failed) was doing drop-shipping.

I then tried publishing books on Amazon, which I ended up doing fairly well with. However, this didn’t last for very long and I got into affiliate marketing almost by accident.

Humble Affiliate Beginnings

I knew that my Kindle Publishing business wasn’t sustainable and I needed to learn a different skill. That is when I took my first affiliate marketing course called “Affiliate Marketing Revolution”.

At the time I was absolutely blown away by what I learned. It all seemed so easy, start up a Youtube channel, start up a blog and just write reviews about products that I used (and didn’t use).

Believe it or not, I almost instantly started to make money! Even though I really didn’t understand what I was doing, I started making money and I thought I had it all figured out.

I was making around $700 a month just with a Youtube channel! I caught the wave of finding the right product at the right time, and I had the results to show for it.

So I decided to start a blog, thinking that if I was able to do what I did on Youtube, then I would be able to double my income easily.

Unfortunately, this didn’t happen. My website was atrocious; I could BUY a visitor to my site. I didn’t know what I was doing wrong.

I then read a review for CB Passive Income and how you can have “turn key system” that can make you money just by duplicating Patric Chan’s “business” system. I set up a landing page, starting an email list and started buying solo ads to enter my funnel so I can start profiting… and that didn’t work.

I soon realized that the whole system was a sort of Ponzi scheme, where the “business” you were sending traffic to was… CB Passive Income! I literally bought a course that taught you how to get other people to buy the same course you just purchased!

Introduction To Affiliate + SEO

After that is when I discovered Wealthy Affiliate. That’s when I learned about writing to get your articles discovered and ranking highly on Google and the importance of doing keyword research and competitor research. Once again my mind was blown away again, because this was THE FIRST TIME I ever heard of these things.

I again thought I had it all figured out and went full stream ahead on my blog. I thought I had a cool brand, a cool logo and it was only a matter of time until the money started rolling in…

Unfortunately it was just a trickle. My articles were now actually showing up on Google and getting some traffic here and there, but they weren’t ranking HIGHLY.

“Imagine I was able to get on the first page for this term, then I would  REALLY be rich!”

I was a bit bitter from the experience, but my sites were starting to rank. I felt like I stumbled and fumbled my way into actually having some success.

Meeting An Honest Affiliate

Towards the end of 2017 I became aware of Greg Jeffries through some Facebook posts praising his SEO Affiliate Domination. I was instantly intrigued as other people were recommending his course in Facebook groups without any prompting.

I decided to check out his course, even though I didn’t really do much research on it other than looking at his website and checking out some of his impressive dashboards.

He just came across as a genuine person, not a know-it-all type “guru” who had all the answers. I took his course and he had all the tactics I already knew at that point with PBN’s, a bunch of tools and writing SEO articles.

If I hadn’t already taken 20 affiliate marketing courses I might have been impressed, but I felt like I had already seen most of it and was sort of disappointed. But just for shits and giggles I decided to make one of his churn and burn style sites from an expired domain I had that wasn’t doing anything, and immediately started making a few hundred dollars per month.

I still didn’t think much of it because it felt sort of spammy. But I tried it again on another domain and then things really started taking off for me. These churn and burn type sites began making more money than my regular affiliate sites, giving me some breathing room to experiment with different things.

From Affiliate SEO To Affiliate Marketing

From the beginning of January 2018 to around October I decided to reinvest into learning even more about affiliate marketing as well as SEO. I took several additional courses and got some high level Youtube coaching so that I could take things to the next level.

The one course that really stuck out was the Authority Hacker course. It showed that using PBN’s really are not the be-all-end-all for ranking sites. I learned that your content should be good enough that people actually want to link to it. So it completely changed the way I thought about writing content and earning links.

Then in November I bought the Income School Project 24 course and it forced me to rethink affiliate marketing yet AGAIN. The real take away from the course was that focusing on obtaining backlinks takes away from the time and effort you could devote to making great articles and earning links naturally.

This made a lot of sense to me, but of course there are some limitations to this way of building sites, especially in more competitive niches.

I hope my story gives you a better sense of where I am coming from, and to see that when it comes to testing out affiliate marketing courses that I have been there, done that.
